History

Transorient was established in Piraeus in 1995, aiming at providing quality and safe transportation of goods in the 1990’s flourishing market in Greece. In 2005, Transorient invested in a combined logistics service, creating new warehouse facilities next to the port of Piraeus in order to offer its clients both safe and well-organizing warehousing of their goods and safe distribution on demand. In 2009, the warehouse was extended to include a new modern building, aiming at meeting the rising requirements in the market for safe and quality logistics service.

Today, Transorient employs 20 people in its head office and warehouse facilities. It is a modern and dynamic company, certified to the ISO 9001:2015 international quality standards, which uses state-to-the-art hardware and software systems. Its slim management and centralized control structure allow it to respond efficiently to each client’s individual needs. Transorient’s long-term cooperation with its clients reflects their confidence in its services. Its highly-qualified, dedicated and skilled personnel, combined with highly-experienced select agents, offer the best transportation and logistics options to leading and flourishing companies in various industries, such as petrochemicals, solid & liquid chemicals, plastics, fishmeal and fish oil production, raw materials for animal feed production, fertilizers and paper production. Transorient moves more than 12.000 teus (import/export) per year, a fact which illustrates both its efficiency and the clients’ preference to its services.
In 2018, Transorient’s new state-of-the art Logistics Center is beginning to be constructed.

Reliability, professionalism and specialization are the key principles in everyday work and growth prospects on which Transorient relies for the provision of its excellent services.
